I am the Lead Spanish Tutor at UnpluggedCR, where I teach Spanish to children aged 12 and younger through engaging, interactive, and immersive lessons. My goal is to help young learners build confidence in their language skills while making the process fun and accessible.
My journey as an educator began when I was just 9 years old, with a project called Koga with Aaralyn — a child-led yoga and movement initiative designed to encourage mindfulness and self-expression. The program lasted for three years and became an important part of my early development, helping me discover how much I enjoy sharing ideas and creating space for others to grow.
In addition to education, I’m a published poet and the author of The Sky is Bluer at Sunset, a bilingual poetry collection exploring identity, emotional healing, and growing up. My writing is deeply personal and intentionally reflective, honoring the quiet moments that shape us.
I’m passionate about storytelling, language, and making meaningful connections through creativity. Inspired by voices like Issa Rae and novels such as The Hunger Games and The Color Purple, I hope to continue growing as both a writer and an educator — helping others find their voice along the way.
